Hi Everyone,
Given the amount we have going on, I think I'm going to start sending the newsletter every two weeks instead of monthly, partially so it's not so darn overwhelming. Right now I just have a few reminders.

Led by Michelle Otero and Lisa Gill

Verso Quatro: Poetry and Panel Discussion

Wednesday May 25th 7 pm
at the Projects 3614 High Street NE

East of Edith Open Mic
EVERY MONDAY at 7 pm

GREAT GOOD FUN
Here's one write-up

And don't forget that the LAND IS retreat is taking applications for summer residencies.

Looking ahead, June will offer
  • a Triptych Showcase with Sari Krosinsky, Jasmine Cuffee, and Sarah McKinstry Brown on June 9th;
  • a P(EAR) poetics and craft discussion at Acequia, speakers TBA for June 26th (for a recap of May Pear click this)
  • East of Edith of course on Mondays;
  • plus a nonviolence workshop led by Stewart Warren date TBA.
  • It also looks like Sarah McKinstry-Brown will lead a poetry workshop at 2pm Sunday June 5th.
More on June in June!!!
