Several people from the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota
Historical Society are attempting to put together a coalition of folks
interested in the development of the Twin Cities History Forum and
will be meeting May 1st. Folks interested should contact them and plan
on attending.

The following is the email I received from them...
============

The first planning meeting of the Twin Cities History Forum has been
set
for Tuesday, May 1st, 2007 at 6pm in the Johnson Classroom at the
Minnesota

interest
in participating and others may be learning about the project for the
first
time. Attached is a draft of the mission statement to be discussed at
the
upcoming meeting as well as the introductory letter for those who
haven't
yet read it. We're excited to have heard from more than 50 people
interested in the development of the Twin Cities History Forum. Please
feel
free to invite colleagues or other interested parties. RSVP to Caitlin
Cook-Isaacson at cook...@umn.edu.
