We had a very successful event with Nicole Foss on Saturday in Caledonia!
Here are three quick things:
1. TUESDAYS in JANUARY -- We will be hosting a series of four gatherings this month at the Thornapple Township Hall on Tuesday's at 7 pm. You are invited. The first gathering is tomorrow (Tuesday) and you are invited. I'll bring various video recordings from the most recent conference. We can select one to watch and to discuss; or we can have a general discussion, such as on the preparation ideas that Nicole shared. Optionally, we have a list of various ideas for topics, from permaculture, to renewable energy, to investing in gold or cash or hard goods, to climate change update, etc. Please do join us tomorrow; this is a free event, at 7 pm, at the Thornapple Township Hall: 200 E. Main St., Middleville, MI 49333
2. STAY IN TOUCH -- If you are not receiving the Local Future announcements via a list; please click here, and then enter your email into the list of your choice. Most likely, if I only have your email address from Nicole's talk, I will not be emailing you again, as I typically only email out to the lists. So, please do pick one to put your email into. I would recommend either the Michigan list, the Grand Rapids list, the Middleville list, or the Wayland list; depending on where you live. :-)

You are also invited to join us on Facebook (again, see the link above).
3. MORE NICOLE FOSS -- Nicole is off to Australia in February, but it is easy to catch up with her by visiting her blog at:
http://theautomaticearth.blogspot.com/... and the FIVE videos she recorded last week in Madison, those will be available through The Automatic Earth as soon as the production is complete.
In the meantime, here are are a couple things you may like:
a. The audio recording of the question and answer period from the Caledonia talk (Hot: Only 2 days old!):
There you go, three quick things. I do hope you will consider joining us tomorrow (Tuesday, January 10, in Middleville).
Cheers!
Aaron
