Potential Kitchen Incubator in Chelsea

It's recently come to my attention that there is a commercial kitchen
sitting idle in Chelsea (at the old high school). I've spoken to the
Mayor and City Manager about the option of the City partnering with
the school district to offer to offer the space to food-based
busineses an incubator. The idea was well received, but is very early
in the process.

One thing that could help move the idea forward is for people who
would be interested in using such a kitchen to step forward. The point
person is the Chelsea City Manager, John Hanifan. His contact
information is below and he's expecting your calls and emails.

At this point you would not be commiting to anything, simply saying I
have a business (or business idea) that requires the use of a
commercial kitchen and I'd like to particpate in this conversation.

Victoria,

We have an incubator kitchen here in BG, and it has been extremely
popular.
Not only is it used by a number of start up food purveyors, but they
have
a lecture series and bring in speakers, one of whom will be talking
tomorrow night. If anyone wants more information, here is the link:
