Setting up on a newer computer

My maker space has one of these, but the computer it's connected to is pretty old and a pain to use. Has anyone got it running on Windows 10? Also, can you connect a newer piece of software to it? PS-CNC is very lackluster and struggles with larger files.

I'm considering replacing the box with the OpenBuilds Black Box, but I'm not sure if the servos can connect to it. If anyone has had success reviving one of these let me know.
