FTDI USB?

I haven't gotten the Lobo yet (friend has it and loves it). I was rewriting the controller code so it will run on my Mac. I was curious if the board uses an FTDI chip for the usb? I was planning on use the native FTDI driver versus interfacing as serial device.

Yes, the board does us an FTDI USB serial chip.
