"Use Asset Tags" - Is this working?

"Is there something more/special that we need to do to enable the use of asset tags along with serial numbers for enrolling devices? I changed the dropdown option on the Configuration section of the web app admin, then unenrolled and reenrolled a device using both asset tag and serial number. However, when I signed into that device, the Chrome app said that the device wasn't enrolled in Grab-n-Go when trying to launch. Moving back to just serial number, then unenroll and reenroll fixed the problem (it registered as enrolled and auto-launched the Chrome app at sign-in)."
