Under potential additions to acreage is: Calcasieu Tract (Rapides Parish, LA). "If this site is old-growth, it would represent the only old-growth stand in Louisiana and potentially the largest west of the Mississippi River. Field visits are needed."   I know there's a lot of restoration going on, a lot of longleafs in Kisatchie. Was this particular tract investigated & determined to be or not to be old-growth? I probably heard the answer to this question in a field trip & it went in one ear & out the other. If so, I apologize.   Thanks!
