Its time to bid farewell to the present members of the IEEE Student Branch, LNMIIT.

 

I had a great experience working with the IEEE Student Branch and will cherish the wonderful moments that I spent working with you all.

During these last 1.5 years you all have supported the IEEE Student Branch and your enthusiasm, encouragement, and contribution in various forms helped the branch in successfully organizing the events.

 

I now look forward for all the deserving candidates to be a part of the new IEEE Committee which will come into action from the 26th April, 2013.

Nomination form for IEEE student Branch Council 2013-2014

Dear All,

The present Executive council of the IEEE student branch at LNMIIT is scheduled to be dissolved on 26th of April 2013.

To run the IEEE student branch effectively we need to have following student officers. For better understanding, a small note on their duties is also written.

The Chairperson: He/She will preside at all meetings of the Branch. He will be responsible for overall activities of the IEEE student chapter in consultation with Executive Committee.

The Vice-Chairman: He/She will perform all functions of the Chairman in the latter's absence or at his/her request.*

The Branch Secretary: He/She will keep a record of all activities of the Branch and shall report same to IEEE Headquarters, together with any special reports required by IEEE Headquarters, within a reasonable time after each meeting. He/She will carry on all other communications necessary to the activities of the Branch. The secretary shall keep a record of the names of members in attendance at the meetings.

The Treasurer: He/She will receive all money and pay all debts of the Branch authorized by the Executive Committee, and shall keep an exact account of all receipts and expenditures.

Executive Committee consists of the above duly elected officers of the Branch and the branch counselor (A faculty member). All the four posts have one year as their responsibility or term period.

For all the four posts, having an IEEE student membership is the only eligibility criteria. Students who are applying recently and waiting for their registration confirmation are also eligible for the same.

Please fill the attached form and show your candidature for any/some of the post(s). The selection for these posts will be done on the basis of an interview by few faculty members and few members of previous committee. The last date for application is Tuesday 23th April 2013, 12 noon.
