Application Criteria

PFA my suggestions for the Application Criteria for next year. Last year's application criteria is also attached for a comparison. The changes involve the delineation of Quizzing from L'n'D to a Quiz Board constituted like the ADR or MUN Board. While I have not spoken to the entire quizzing community at NLSIU about this, the few that I have spoken to (Divy, Mrinalini, Parth, Atulaa) seem to be quite receptive to the idea. Indeed, quizzing has been gradually subsumed by our increasing debating responsibilities over the past few years. If we are to fulfill them and ensure the organization of quizzing activities by an ABC, I believe we must create a separate body for quizzing.

There are also a number of changes suggested to the Member Application Criteria, including the emphasis on organization by capping performance and participation points by organization points. The reduction in value to literary activities is keeping in mind the dwindling interest in these activities this year. Needless to say, that should change next year. Suggest the modifications you think necessary?
