Subject: Fiduciary Issues and inappropriate appointments

Aloha!

This is a genuinely good point.

One issue not addressed is that there is actually more than one person on this committee which was strongly implicated by the forensic investigation as having been involved in the theft and alleged misuse of our database.

My understanding that CATO and the other NGO principles sponsored this action against the Libertarian Party as part of their hostile takeover. These same operatives are also actively working with Luchini to subvert our interests in New Mexico — all directly tied back to the CATO / Atlas & Liberal Party NGO ecosystem.

What a betrayal of member trust!!

Now we are openly appointing known hostile institutional saboteurs to other committees. The conflicted officers and appointments have been brought up many times to our counsel, and was met with his seal of approval; concerns dismissed, conflicts ignored — why is our lawyer facilitating this apparently criminal behavior?

Make it make sense.

Members of the LNC,
I noticed the announcement of members of the historical preservation committee on the email list today and noticed one appointment that gives me cause for concern. One of the members newly appointed to this committee has been credibly determined by an outside vendor to have exported party membership data, which I believe required party insurance to get involved and a public notification of a data leak to be issued in some states. While I’m not sure what data the historical preservation committee may or may not have access to, it seems highly improper for somebody who has been identified as the perpetrator of such an action to have any officially appointed role within the party. I’d even argue allowing this could be seen as a breach of fiduciary duty, being that the individual in question already has a history of improperly using party data. I ask you all to take this seriously and consider the implications of allowing this individual to hold a position on this committee or any committee in the future.
