The language of the policy manual says:
Any member of the LNC may object to consideration of any original main motion to
incidental main motion. This may be done at any time from when the co-sponsors are
requested, and until twenty-four (24) hours after the motion ballot has been started.
The member objecting shall post “I object to the consideration of this motion,” on the
thread containing the motion. Any member also objecting shall have twenty-four (24)
hours from the first objection to also post, “I object to the consideration of the
motion,” A majority of the entire membership of the LNC shall adopt such a motion.
Cosponsors were requested March 16, 2026 6:26 PM (my time), and my objection was raised after only one cosponsor had been given (and it was from an alternate,
so it wouldn't likely even count) and within about 20 minutes.
That started a 24 hour timer for a majority of the LNC to object to consideration.
A sufficient number of objections were in before 24 hours, therefore the question shall not be considered.
