Aloha, Mr. Thon,
Thank you for sharing your concerns with the LNC.
I share your misgivings with the messaging. I do not recall any factual information nor internal investigations which found that the "GOP takeover" being alleged actually occurred. Despite this, it is being recklessly, perhaps even maliciously, claimed as
fact in our name. Such reckless messaging seems like a defamation risk, especially toward someone we are publicly threatening with a lawsuit which the LNC already determined was not in the best interests of the organization.
To my knowledge, the promised lawfare remains unauthorized. It seems like the party messaging is alleging that former chair McArdle was a "ringleader". If we wish to claim the GOP has infiltrated the LP, let's have an impartial investigation and get to the
facts. I will follow them wherever they lead.
I will happily be supporting the expulsion of any subversives, whether on the right or the left. I fully support responsible investigations into such troubling claims, especially since recent investigations have shown an institutional infiltration associated
with foreign principals.
We are not the arbiters, but stewards of the Liberty Movement.
Let's be good stewards and get the facts before we act.

Dear LNC Members,
I'm reaching out to express concern about the email sent out by Chair McMahon, specifically the part where he is calling for donations specifically because he very brazenly claims the LNC is about to file suit against an individual who I think we pretty clearly
know is former Chair Angela McArdle.
Ignoring for a second rather or not the LNC board should even embark on this suit in the first place, I don't recall any motion to officially file this suit having even been put forth yet, let alone voted on. Perhaps the outcome is already predetermined but
this has to be incredibly unsound from a legal perspective and I have to wonder if he or the LNC board sought legal advice about publicly blasting this before a motion has even been made.
Furthermore, I have a feeling that having this as a selling point for why people SHOULD or OUGHT to give the party money is going to turn off a very significant part of the Libertarian Party, even those who are not aligned with any faction Angela is involved
in.
For the first 5 years I was a member of LP National I was giving national almost 3 figures a year, sometimes over. This year following convention I dropped my annual contribution to the bare minimum to maintain membership over concerns of fiscal irresponsibility
and blantant attempts to disenfranchise me as a member.
Reading this email, even beyond this specific part, has only reaffirmed my concerns. This leadership wants to embark of fiscal suicide which I find incredibly disheartening and should this continue I cannot in good conscience change my mind about where I stand
on funding this party.
I've contemplated donating money with it being earmarked for specific avenues that I think are actually worthwhile avenues, however there is no mechanism for enforcing this body honoring that earmark and I have zero reason to trust that you would.
I implore you to change course now before it's too late.
Thank you for your time and have a pleasant rest of your night.
