Greetings.
There was an error in the automatic generation of the letters where a generic variable was printed into the letters instead of a calculated number.
Honest mistake.
And often not easy to see when the review version is looked at since it will simply have the variables in certain spots, such as the individuals name and couple other areas.
If the calculation behind the variable is broken you wouldn't see it unless you command the system to print a test one with a single person recipient list to test.
Again.
Honest mistake.
As I indicated in another thread, I don't think that highlighting internal disputes in national membership renewal letters is a good idea.
We need to exhibit stability and cooperation so that our members and our opponents take us seriously.
In 25 years, nobody is going to care about bickering between caucuses, lpnhs ugly X posts, etc.
I'm going through a box of historical mailers from the 1990s as we speak. The historical preservation committee involvement has been very illuminating as far as understanding the mentality of the party during different periods. I hope to understand the reasons
the party was so much more successful during sone eras that it is currently.
Thank you.
