Region 9 Monthly Report
June 2026

Our newly formed region maintains our cohesive working environment post-convention. The Chairs of the region met last week along with Mr. Dasbach to discuss an income fundraising sharing agreement as well as a membership drive competition. We will be meeting monthly to continue to work together and move the Libertarian Party forward in our part of the country.

Some notes from around the region:

Arizona’s primary election will be held July 21st. The AZLP currently has candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor as well as 2 candidates in a write-in primary for Arizona's 2nd congressional district.

The Colorado Primary Election will be held June 30th. The Libertarian Primary will consist of 2 Libertarians running for Secretary of State. All registered Libertarians in Colorado (more than 42,000) will receive a Libertarian Primary ballot in the mail so they can vote to decide which Libertarian candidate will be on the November ballot for Secretary of State.

Washington State Party membership is up to 106 from 82 when Michael Pickens was elected chair and the new leadership is excited about the Unified Membership Program from National.

LPWA also raised $7590 in one night for Cobi Clark's State House race.

We hope to continue working to move Liberty forward and hope to become an example of how to work across partisan differences to continue to grow the party.
