A majority of the LNC has informally authorized me to publish the following email ballots which are currently outstanding. Please note that these have been copied and pasted as sent out to the LNC by Ms. Harlos. Should you believe you have found any errors, please email Ms. Harlos at caryn.an...@lp.org. Any additional ballots for the time being will be added to this list and sent out as necessary.

 

 

Email Ballot on LNC Judicial Committee Response*

Votes are due to the LNC List on this email thread by 11:59 pm Pacific Time on February 1, 2025.
Motion: To authorize Jonathan M. Jacobs to make the LNC's response to Judicial Committee Appeal Judicial Committee Appeal 1.6.25.
Co-Sponsors:  Bost, Dassing, Haman, Hays, Vinson
Vote Threshold Required:  Majority 

 *This is now unnecessary as it has been authorized by the Chair.

 

 

Email Ballot on Accepting the Resignation of Angela McArdle as LNC Chair

Motion: To accept Angela McArdle's resignation from the office of the Chair of the Libertarian National Committee effective immediately.

Email Ballot on formation of Investigatory Committee Regarding Angela McArdle
Votes are due to the LNC List on this email thread by 11:59 pm Pacific Time on January 30, 2025.
Motion: 
Resolved, that a committee comprised of Meredith Hays, Paul Darr, Bill Redpath, Andrew Chadderdon, and Steven Nekhaila be appointed by the Libertarian National Committee to investigate allegations of misconduct by our Chair, Angela McArdle, which, if true, cast doubt on her fitness to continue in office, and that the Committee be instructed, if it concludes that the allegations are well-founded, to report resolutions covering its recommendations.

Motion: 

Whereas the position of Vice Chair on the Libertarian National Committee is currently vacant;

Whereas Jonathon McGee has demonstrated exceptional leadership, organizational competence, and unwavering dedication to the values and principles of the Libertarian Party;

Be it resolved that the LNC appoints Jonathon McGee as Vice Chair of the Libertarian National Committee, effective immediately upon the passage of this motion.
