Dear Colleagues,

I am calling an Executive Committee meeting, to proceed immediately after the LNC meeting, this Sunday, March 1st.

I move the following:

1. The approval of 2026 Convention Speakers.

The following recommendations from the Litigation Committee:

Having sent a second demand letter to former LNC Chair McArdle - Litigation Committee recommends proceeding with a civil action against Ms. McArdle.

1. Move to authorize Chair Nekhaila to execute a retainer agreement with Bernebei & Kabat, a DC law firm, to take immediate civil action against former LNC Chair Angela McArdle with a $10,000 retainer and a $650/hour rate.
2. Move to increase budget line 8210-20 Legal Proactive by $10,000 and to authorize payment from the same budget line in the amount of $10,000 to Bernebei & Kabat for civil litigation representation.

New Mexico Ballot Access case

1. Move to authorize Chair Nekhaila to execute a retainer agreement with The Law Office of Gary Fielder, to take immediate civil action against the New Mexico Secretary of State on behalf of and with our New Mexico affiliate with $2,500 retainer, already paid, and a $200/hour rate.
