We have an LNC Executive Committee email ballot.  Votes are due to the LNC List on this email thread by 11:59 pm Pacific Time on April 2nd, 2026.

Motion: 

move that the Executive Committee authorize the trademark enforcement litigation in New Mexico as previously presented, contingent on adoption of the budget authorization by the full LNC. Once both approvals are in place, the Chair is directed to execute the retainer agreement with Fresh IP PLC and initiate the litigation within seven days.

Mr. Secretary,

The majority vote threshold listed on this ballot is incorrect. PM §1.06(2)(3) explicitly requires "a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Executive Committee for participation in the lawsuit." Please correct the vote threshold to 2/3.

While I do not have a vote on this ballot, I reiterate my full support for this action. Our recognized affiliate in New Mexico has waited long enough for us to fulfill our duty to defend our name from fraud and impersonation. I urge every member of the Executive Committee to vote yes without delay.
