What a shame that the Libertarian Party continues to be burdened by unadmitted leftist destroyers whose every act mirrors the same tired tactics as those practiced -- though to a more deadly degree, but no less destructive -- than those Robert Conquest documented about Stalin and his show trials as he sought to eliminate any who displayed competence in his book, The Great Terror: Except that this is just lame, dishonest, and petty.
I personally witnessed Stephen Nekhaila trying to unseat, at the Trump speech, an LP delegate who had traveled far and had reserved places at the 2024 convention. Why? For the audience of Trump fans who were allowed to flood the hall while bona fide delegates were stalled outside. While I was talking to the one delegate, and second delegate ran over and told me that Stephen had tried to do the same thing to him. So both of these LP delegates pointed out Nekhaila to me, and I gave him a piece of my mind after reassuring the delegates not to surrender their seats to the interlopers who, after being invited to an event they had neither paid for or traveled far to attend, acted the part of cretins at a banquet attempting to make off with the food, the furniture, and even the kitchen appliances and flatware.
The next day, I spotted Nekaila politicking through the audience on the main convention floor, and I confronted him about his behavior the night before. As if it were nothing to him, he lied flat out -- even stating the opposite. As if a lie weren't enough, he went for the Big Lie that overturns anything related to truth or accuracy to get what he wanted: a good opinion from those who were looking on. And he stated his outrageous denial and substitution of a false reality without hesitation. It's like he didn't even have to cook something up on the spot. It was pure instinct to concoct a lie out of whole cloth without a whisper of doubt visible -- the more outrageous the better. It was automatic. Pure lizard behavior in my eyes.
And that's the rub. They want what they want, and they'll do whatever they can to get it. No holds barred. That's always been the ploy of the destroyers of the left. They build nothing, having no credibility, trust, or record of accomplishment. But they can rely on an underlying resentment culture that animates the left on virtually every issue. They make false accusations. They lie, They freeze out anyone who opposes them or even dares to point out what they're doing -- as Andrew Chadderdon has. Because their perpetual resentment animates everything they do, there is no tactic they will not try. And the collateral damage is nothing to them.
Many of them just fail to understand the basic contention of the LP. They refused to accept that the purpose of the LP is to limit the aggressive actions of the state -- to carefully describe and circumscribe state violence to the smallest domain possible. Instead, they seek to make it a be-all, end-all philosophy of life, which it is not and cannot be. It is merely a political strategy, no more. It is not a lifestyle, not a direction for interacting with people in general, not a way of social organization or preferred humanitarian practice. It's only a way to circumscribe the state. But because they cannot tolerate differences among human beings in areas such as personal association, child-rearing, religious belief, or even public statements of preferences, they attempt to defame, silence, remove, litigate against, and ruin anyone who differs from them.
In Michigan, convention after convention, we are witness to the barnyard braying and shrieking of these people -- a circus nobody would every pay to watch. And the deception mirrors that of Nekhaila. The latest issue of the Libertarian Party of Michigan's newsletter carries a story about the recent convention that fails to mention two salient facts:
· First, that the mob of destroyers halted the business portion of the convention before any but a fraction was completed and departed -- effectively ending a meeting which had reserved space at a convention center and hotel for an entire weekend. Attendees from across the state watched as the entire thing was shut down in front of them. Yet the newsletter says nothing of this.
· Secondly, there's no mention of the animal braying and circus of the affair as crazed motion after motion was made. That newsletter account was nothing but a printed lie, but they got what they wanted, control of the executive.
The only way the LP can produce good results is to acknowledge their tactic -- and yes, it is pure Saul Alinsky -- and remove them all from the party. They can do nothing but destroy it. And they won't stop until they're removed.
Sincerely,
Lawrence Ludlow

Your attempt to flip the script, Keith, only exposes your role in this mess. Your subtle attempt to imply that I am working with the CIA because I replied to Jay is nonsense.
Jay thrives on attention; he doesn't mind the public discussion. He just doesn't like being exposed as the hypocrite that he is.
Jay recently participated in the invasion of the Hawaii LP. He specifically declared his intention to conspire with a few dozen other infiltrators, so that they could install a different Chair who had no support in the state. Not because Mr. Martin was a bad chair (he was elected unanimously after the invaders were expelled), but because Jay was mad that he lost legitimate political fights in Michigan. He has been using these tactics for years, but shows his hand here, following the "Great Pineapple War" at the recent Hawaii convention.
Jay needs to be removed from the LP, as urgently as possible. He is happy to sabotage another state party to see his political goals furthered.
He sends this CIA manual, openly attempting to make the same implication that you did subtly as you attempted to redirect his false implications back onto me. This kind of rhetorical dishonesty from both of you is exactly what Mr. Martin has been warning against, and you have tried to portray his words as violent.
Meanwhile, your naked support for socialism, which is inherently non voluntary despite all your word games and mental gymnastics attempting to redefine language to your purposes, is also antithetical to the mission of the Libertarian Party. It will not be a welcoming place for socialists, nor for those who will openly argue that the LNC is not bound against committing robbery, trespass, fraud, and misrepresentation.
It was very promising and admirable when you alone broke from the rest of your coup to oppose Adrian becoming Secretary, and I still commend you for that, but it does not cancel these matters out. I hope that you will start to do better.

Thank you kindly for writing us, Jay.
It is unfortunate how often our organizational state can be accurately described by Rules for Radicals and CIA disruptive tactics.
I appreciate that you did not bring up any particular members in your initial email and merely described the situation. I agree that addressing issues is more important than direct infighting among members.
It is, however, telling that some felt directly attacked by you simply privately writing us about CIA disruption tactics. "A hit dog will holler," I'm told.
That said - I do not like the manner in which your post was forwarded to the public list. LNC members should absolutely not forward private communications to us to the public list in order to disparage those members. We answer to the membership, not the other way around.
Publicly forwarding messages from members to the list in order to belittle them discourages membership from reaching out with feedback and concerns.
Thank you again for writing us, Mr. Gillotte. I am sorry for the breach of decorum.

Dear Jay and LNC Members,
Jay, your attempt to smear my efforts with a CIA playbook is a pathetic dodge, straight out of the leftist handbook you seem so eager to quote. Steven appears to have been recently brushing up on it as well, according to his X posts. It’s the same divisive garbage I fought in Michigan, where you and your allies ran a deliberate campaign to torch the LPMI’s progress. Under my leadership, we elected more candidates than in decades and pulled the party out of obscurity—successes you helped dismantle with Saul Alinsky-style tactics: sowing chaos, stalling progress with endless disputes, and burying us in bureaucratic quicksand while conducting a completely illegitimate lawfare campaign.
The LNC is now under a similar leftist-inspired assault, executed with different but equally toxic maneuvers. Steven Nekhaila, Paul Darr, and their lackeys are crippling our party by obstructing critical legal guidance to hide their agenda and have handed sweeping veto power to a couple of small but dangerously empowered committees. These moves, cloaked in “reason” and “caution,” are textbook leftist subversion, designed to seize control of the LNC and strangle our ability to fight for liberty.
I won’t stand by while this calculated assault dismantles the national LP. Your attempt to flip the script, Jay, only exposes your role in this mess. Those who keep dragging our party into chaos will answer for it. LNC members, the choice is clear: stand up to these subversive tactics and fight for our mission, or let a few bad actors reduce us to rubble. I’m fighting for liberty—where do you stand?

Subject: How to destroy an organization
The document below comes from a CIA pamphlet on how to destabilize an organization:
(“11) General Interference with Organizations and Production
(a) Organizations and Conferences (1) Insist on doing everything through
"channels." Never permit short-cuts to be taken in order to expedite decisions.
(2) Make "speeches." Talk as frequently as possible and at great length.
Illustrate your "points" by long anecdotes and accounts of personal experiences. Never hesitate to make a few appropriate "patriotic" comments.
(3) When possible, refer all matters to committees, for "further study and consideration." Attempt to make the committees as large as possible never less than five.
(4) Bring up irrelevant issues as frequently as possible.
(5) Haggle over precise wordings of communications, minutes, resolutions.
(6) Refer back to matters decided upon at the last meeting and attempt to reopen the question of the advisability of that decision.
(7) Advocate "caution." Be "reasonable" and urge your fellow-conferees to be "reasonable" and avoid haste which might result in embarrassments or difficulties later on.
(8) Be worried about the propriety of any decision-raise the question of whether such action as is contemplated lies within the jurisdiction of the group or whether it might conflict with the policy of some higher echelon.”
SOUND FAMILIAR?
