This past Saturday, on the heels of a state-sanctioned execution in Minnesota, where a disarmed man, exercising his first and second amendment rights, was shot and killed by federal agents, the LNC put out a statement that has surpassed 3 million views and
extremely positive feedback.
This is an example of earned media messaging that comes with good timing. Not only did we interject ourselves in the conversation, but we created our own narrative rather than "borrow" it from either side.
When we last went viral through courting Elon Musk we received dozens of pieces of earned media, and nearly hourly phone calls from different outlets. The opportunity is there for the LP to be a subversive player in the national narrative, owning our lane of
the conversation, as well as converting that visibility to membership and status.
