Subject: Resolution To End All Resolutions

Looking for someone who isn't an alt like me to sponsor this and put it on the table. 

I tried last year, but it never happened. This is the most serious and realistic resolution that has been put on the table since I was elected to the LNC. I hope you will all support it.

Resolution to Condemn the Endless Stream of Pointless Resolutions

WHEREAS, the Libertarian National Committee (LNC) has developed an incurable addiction to crafting, debating, amending, re-amending, tabling, un-tabling, and ultimately forgetting a never-ending parade of resolutions; 

WHEREAS, these resolutions, while sounding very important, are almost entirely symbolic, lack enforcement mechanisms, and are often read by approximately seven people on Facebook (three of whom are bots); 

WHEREAS, many LNC members seem more emotionally invested in passing resolutions about international conflicts, ideological purity tests, and who’s allowed to sit at what table, than in actually growing the party, or advancing liberty; 

WHEREAS, the average resolution consumes more time than a TSA line during a power outage, and with a less productive outcome; 

WHEREAS, it has become increasingly clear that resolutions are, in fact, fake and gay; 

WHEREAS, the act of passing this resolution proves our point better than any lengthy debate ever could;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Libertarian National Committee formally condemns the excessive use of resolutions as a substitute for action, outreach, or doing literally anything useful;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any member proposing a resolution hereafter should first submit a signed affidavit affirming they have touched grass in the past 30 days;

AND BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that this resolution will self-destruct in 5 business days, as per standard LNC protocol of passing things just to say we did, then immediately forgetting about them.
