I believe that the motion has now received sufficient co sponsors and would appreciate if the secretary would prepare the ballot at his earliest convenience. 

I understand and appreciate the fact that the secretary may still be getting set up in the new role however, and respect whatever reasonable delays will result, as long as the motion to accept the resignation will be moving forward.

As previously ruled, the two At-Large seats are vacant as the resignations had an immediate effect as indicated under RONR (the only exception is unpaid membership dues or pending disciplinary action) and DC corporate law, therefore, this motion is ruled null and void.

I appreciate the nominations and gladly accept. 

However, I stand by my original response that we should not fill these open positions until the next business meeting. Region Reps and Alternates need to fulfill their obligatory due diligence by consulting region affiliate Chairs. I don't think that's too much to ask. I don't believe that as things currently stand that we are respecting our membership base.

It may be hard for a non-region rep LNC members to understand, but please try to put yourself in our shoes. Thank you for your consideration.
