LNC Members,

It is with regret that I inform the Committee that Brian McWilliams is resigning his position as Communications Director of the Libertarian National Committee. His statement is below:

Evan and Steve,

With much regret, I'm informing you that I'll be resigning from my position as LNC Comms Chair. It's become a bit too time consuming on top of my duties running my PR agency, and I have to turn my full attention towards continued growth of that business.

It's been a pleasure working with both of you and the staff. I'll continue to work through the end of the month and will aid in any transition necessary.

Though Brian and I have only worked together since I was elected Chair at the end of May, his work in that time has been stellar. He has been responsive, professional, and a steady hand on the Party's public voice. I respect his decision to devote his full attention to the growth of his business, and I wish him every success in his ventures. We are grateful that he has offered to remain through the end of the month and to assist with the transition.

EPCC has been notified of the vacancy and will coordinate the hiring process in accordance with its procedures and the policy manual. Staff will be asked to send a wide email this week seeking applications for the Communications Director position.
