Had this thought if the committee wants to take up the topic again. After Article 4, Section 1, add: "This membership Pledge is not intended as a measure of fidelity to the Statement of Principles."

Or something to that effect.

ChatGPT offered these variants:

✳️ Neutral / formal
  1. “This membership pledge is not a test of loyalty to the Statement of Principles.”

  2. “The pledge is not meant to serve as a measure of adherence to the Statement of Principles.”

  3. “This pledge does not gauge or imply a member’s agreement with the Statement of Principles.”

✳️ Plain and accessible
  1. “Signing this pledge does not mean you must fully agree with the Statement of Principles.”

  2. “The pledge is separate from, and not a measure of, a person’s agreement with the Statement of Principles.”

✳️ Slightly more polished for bylaws or official language
  1. “This membership pledge is intended solely as a commitment to non-aggression and shall not be construed as a test of fidelity to the Statement of Principles.”

  2. “This pledge affirms the member’s commitment to non-aggression, not their conformity to the Statement of Principles.”

In liberty,

Rob Latham

There's no point to revisiting it.

There is little to no understanding of the external threat to the Party, that was made clear today.

It is not and never has been about internal interpretation.  It has ALWAYS been about the external threat.
