I am pleased to hear we consider RFK Jr. to be a political enemy. The point of contention, then, is whether or not the
joint fundraiser for our opponent amounts to fundraising for our opponent?
"Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has launched a joint fundraising committee with the Libertarian National Committee, looking to bolster his campaign with the help of a third party
that is already fielding a separate nominee for the White House," the
Washington Post reports. "While joint fundraising committees are common,
it is unusual for entities that are ostensibly rivals to make such an arrangement."
"Together, the Kennedy campaign and LNC are democratizing fundraising to make this independent run viable." - RFK Jr.'s website.
Yes, I know - consider the source. But one can be forgiven, I trust, for thinking that aiding "The Kennedy Victory Fund
2024" is akin to helping Kennedy's campaign.
This, of course, is complicated by the fact that multiple state affiliates have rejected the Libertarian candidate in favor of RFK Jr., with whom we have entered into a collaborative fundraising agreement.
