(Note: A big "Thank You!" to generous Libertarians, who, in the first few hours of our fundraising drive have raised nearly $1,000 in donations)

A Call To Action!

Catastrophic floods have ravaged much of Eastern Tennessee. Communities in Carter, Cocke, Greene, Sevier, Unicoi & Washington Counties have instructed residents to evacuate. The Libertarian Party of Tennessee and Libertarian Mutual Aid are asking Affiliates/Members/Friends to respond to a humanitarian crisis, in support of Flood Relief conducted by the Libertarian Party of Tennessee, by ordering/drop-shipping critical household supplies and/or donating cash. As Libertarians, we can engage in the type of humanitarian support that personifies the replacement of government intervention with personal mutual aid.

Didn’t read to the top of the thread, I support the Liberty Mutual Aid org and am throwing in $50 right now. Others should do the same, its the best way to get what's needed to Libertarians on the ground RIGHT NOW. I worked with a liberty aid group as well as Doge Coin Not Bombs back in 2017 when we got hit with Irma and we were extraordinarily effective in getting aid out to locals who needed it and not a slush fund who usually wastes resources. And it doesn’t go to the government, who by the way, didn’t get water trucks to Western NC when they were asked ahead of the storm and cannot be relied on now.
