Leave Requests and Credits related questions

Dear Students, We receive some concerns from students regarding their credits and leave requests lately. You can find detailed description in your students handbook. Please find below my brief explanation. Regarding your credits, For 08 students, "MIT Sloan MBA curriculums are adopted in Lingnan International MBA Program. All degree candidates enrolled in the MBA Program are required to complete 11 core courses and minimum of 7 optional courses. International MBA students must complete 4 compulsory courses and MBA students must complete 3 compulsory courses." -----------page 9, 08 Student Handbook For 06 and 07 students, "MIT Sloan MBA curriculums are adopted in Lingnan International MBA Program. All degree candidates enrolled in the MBA Program are required to complete 12 core courses and minimum of 3 optional courses. International MBA students must complete 6 compulsory courses and Bilingual MBA students must complete 5 compulsory courses. -----------page 9, 07 Student Handbook
Regarding the LEAVE REQUEST, 1. Students cannot miss 1/3 of the course, even if your leave requests are apporved. Any one who misses any course for more than 1/3 of the lesson hours will not be granted credits. 2. Late for class or absent for class will result in deduction of marks for one course, but leave requests approved will not result in any deduction of final score. 3. The MBA Center can only approve leaves with relevant documents. To be specific, sick leaves must go with a doctor's note, and work leave must go with a company letter. If anybody needs to leave a class for any other reason, they need to submit formal written request to the MBA center. Or their leave request will be rendered void. 4. 金融危机对日本保险行业的影响
南喜一郎董事长兼总经理 三井住友海上火灾保险（中国）有限公司
演讲者简介：南喜一郎（MINAMI KIICHIRO）先生毕业于日本京都大学建筑学专业，1978年4月～1994年3月在大正海上火灾保险公司工作，曾任该公司北京代表处首席代表、国际业务部美洲课 课长代理； 大正海上火灾保险公司后更名为三井海上火灾保险公司，自1994年4月起，南喜一郎先生历任该公司企业营业第四部课长、企业官公厅开发部课长、广告市场部课长、总经理室课长、火灾新种业务部课长、火灾新种业务部次长；2001年10月三井海上火灾保险公司和住友海上火灾保险公司合并，更名为三井住友海上火灾保险公司，2003年4月起，南喜一郎先生历任该公司中部业务部企画特命次长、名古屋企业本部部长、台北分公司总经理、东亚印度本部部长、三井住友海上火灾保险（中国）有限公司董事长兼总经理。
