Dear fellow XML/SGML users, vendors, and developers,

SGML Users Group Finland invites You to participate in XML Finland '99,
renamed to reflect the growing interest in XML. XML Finland '99 is a
two-day event, which serves as a meeting point for all interested people
from experienced professionals to new users of XML or SGML. Conference
languages are English and Finnish, but the seminar program is designed
so that it is always possible to follow an English speaking track with
a concurrent English/Finnish track.

XML Finland '99 seminar programme is especially interesting consisting
of 2 key note speeches, 3 invited talks, 3 tutorials and 16 paper
presentations covering different aspects of XML and SGML. XML Finland
'99 also has an exhibition, where leading vendors and developers present
their tools and application demos. In addition, there are two related
events prior to the seminar, XML/EDI Tech seminar and RAJU Training
seminar (see more information below).

Conference venue is Helsinki Fair Centre/Holiday-Inn Helsinki Congress
Centre <http://www.finnexpo.fi/kongressi/en/yhteystiedot.html> in
Helsinki, Finland. It provides a modern, first-class environment for
conferences and seminars. Last year's seminar in Jyväskylä gathered a
crowd of 200 attendees making the event a very successful one, thus
continuing the tradition set by earlier seminars in Espoo and Vaasa.
We anticipate that the popularity of the event will keep on growing!
