Eighth International Workshop on Foundations of Models and
Languages for Data and Objects

This special international workshop will be the eighth in a
series focusing on foundations of models and languages for data
and objects. The main principle of this workshop series is to
concentrate on one selected topic and to offer the opportunity
for in-depth exchange of ideas and experiences. In order to
stimulate extensive discussions, the time for the presentation
of a long (short) paper is 60 (30) minutes followed by about
30 (15) minutes of discussion. Furthermore, each author
will be asked in advance to prepare a response to the work of
another author. In addition to the talks, there will be working
groups which concentrate on current research topics and try to
develop a common understanding of the problems involved.

Due to the special character of this workshop series, the
number of participants is restricted. Currently, we have
still space for up to ten additional participants.
For registration send us (td...@iti.cs.uni-magdeburg.de) an
e-mail containing the information about your
- arrival day
- departure day,
- whether you prefer to have a single or double room, and
- whether you wish vegetarian meal.
A single room costs 135 DM/day per person and a double room 85/day
per person. These rates include full board, i.e., three meals a
day, coffee breaks and a cheese platter in the evening. Beverages,
phone and sauna usage and various articles available at the kiosk
counter are charged for extra.
The conference fee is 60 DM. This includes the workshop
proceedings and the post proceedings which will be published
in the Lecture Notes Series of Springer.
