In lmt2.x you would need to add them to the database.
It might actually be easier for you to upgrade to lmt3.
lmt3 adds lustre servers to the database on the fly when
they report in via cerebro.

Basically the lmtrc files on the server where mysql runs are
replaced with one config file /etc/lmt/lmt.conf in a new format.
You would probably set up that file, then upgrade the lmt-server package,
then the lmt-server-agent package on the the lustre servers.
The gui is now in a separate package lmt-gui. It still uses the old lmtrc
file but requires it to be in your home directory.
Please open lmt issues for any glitches you encounter in the documentation
or the code.
