LMS Society handover cum appreciation

Hi everyone!

Now that elections are over and the new LMS committee has been decided upon, it is time for us to have our annual handover! Seeing as how it is recess week next week, let's take advantage of a free timetable for us all and host our handover during recess week! There are a few things I would require you guys to consent/decide upon:

1) Handover: 3rd October, Thursday 2 pm (Please indicate availability)

2) Recognition of existing committee efforts

As all of you understand, the LMS society is not a formalized society in NTU and as such participation in the society will not be included on any official certs. However, the LMS division has agreed to endorse letters of appreciation/recommendation on the basis of work contributed to the LMS society that will be officially stamped and signed by the society's supervisor. We have two options for this process:

I. Write out your own letter of recommendation and it will be passed along for endorsement

II. Provide s list of key points/achievements in your term in the LMS society and the letter will be drafted for you instead.

We would like for you guys to indicate which option you would all prefer.

3) Appreciation Meal

Here comes the fun part - a free meal! Yu Ting and I would like to host an appreciation meal after handover (on the day itself) for the outgoing committee to come together one last time before we all part our separate ways. We would like to request for your availability after handover to have this meal.

I am free on the 3rd until about 5pm. I think the listing of achievements will be better for me. And no I won't be free for dinner on the 3rd, I have ballet. Thanks for all the arrangements!
