Please find attached the details for LMS Freshmen for reference. The Welcome day is scheduled on 5 August, Monday.
The programme as seen below:

· Date: 5th Aug 2013, Monday
· Time: 11am – 1pm
· Venue: Main event, LKC-LT
10.30am Freshmen start to stream in
11.00am Welcome Speech by Chair, HSS
11.10am Address by Assoc Chair (Undergraduate Education)
11.20am Talk by NTU Student Wellbeing Centre
11.40am Presentation by President of HSS Club
- Programme (LMS)
11.50am Division Programme:
-Introduction of curriculum, faculty, and division student club
-Collection of matriculation cards
1.00pm Tea Reception, end of programme
LMS segment will take place at LT22. Tea reception will be held outside LT22 and it is exclusively for LMS bunch. The faculty will most likely be at LT22 by 12pm for their introduction. You can bring in a few members of the club to help us out and interact with the freshies.
Things to note: Session is encouraged to end at 1pm. Based on the feedback last year, the divisional session was too long due to games and etc.
Also, HSS Communications Office would like to engage 2 students assistants (ushering, distribution of matric cards etc) to help them out. These 2 students will be paid. Can I trouble you to provide me with 2 names from the LMS club? Kindly provide me with the names by Wednesday, 17 July 2013.
