Hello guys!

It is that time of the year again - elections are coming up! It has truly been an eventful year for the committee and we are happy to see that the society continues to grow and push itself forward to help better serve our fellow LMS members. It is time for the seniors to step aside and hand over the reins to our juniors so that you guys can continue to expand the LMS Society vision!

There a few pointers that we need to cover and inform you guys on before the upcoming elections take place.

Recruitment Email Blast

Firstly, please take note that a recruitment email blast will be sent out tomorrow, Monday 26th August so do check your NTU email inboxes!

Intention to continue in LMS Society

We would like for each of you to email Yu Ting and myself individually with regards to whether or not you intend to stay on or not to stay on with the next LMS Society EXCO. Please email us your decisions by 26th August, Monday night 2359. Based on your individual decisions, Yu Ting and I will arrange to talk to you guys individually in the upcoming week to discuss what roles you would like to move on to in the next EXCO.

To those who intend to stay on, please take note that you will be required to fill up the official application form that will be mailed out in the upcoming recruitment email blast.

Nomination Assessment

Lastly, we wish to inform you that the entire 4th EXCO committee will be involved in the assessment of our new freshmen who will be signing up to join us. Once the application forms are in, we will inform you guys at a later date how and when this assessment will be carried out.

For any further questions or enquires with regards to the upcoming elections, please do not hesitate to contact us! The upcoming email blast will include the official electoral processes so please do look through them when you receive the email.

We sincerely hope that all of you have enjoyed serving your term with the 4th EXCO and have been inspired to stay on to help the LMS Society push itself to further heights. Without each and every one of us, we would not have gotten to where we are today.

Thank you and Best Regards,

Gourie

Vice-President

4th Linguistics and Multilingual Society EXCO
