Come out and play!

Good afternoon, folks.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12 is going to be sunny, so how about
doing something impulsive? Why don't you meet me at Beaty Landing for
some birding? We'll start at 8 a.m. and be finished by 10. This
little wilderness is tucked into a bend of the Grand River on the edge
of Painesville and is a good little spot. We birded it in the late
spring and it will be interesting to see what is still there -- I'd
love to get a good long look at the white-eyed vireos that nest there
and perhaps there will still be swallows on the river. Be sure to
bring your binoculars and a field guide if you have them.
