Because we know the folks who subscribe to this e-mail love to bird
and you are faithful LMP supporters we want you to know about these
fall opportunities before the general public hears about them.
In appreciation for your participation in past Lake Metroparks birding
adventures, we are opening up TWO awesome fall trips ahead of the
general public’s registration time frame. The first is HAWK WATCHING
at Pelee Point (and other hot spots in Ontario), September 17 – 19. A
passport is required and the cost is $275 per person for double
accommodations or $375 for a single. This includes transportation,
lodging, great guides, and some meals.
We are especially excited about the second trip! It's an overnite
stay on Kelley's Island to visit a SAW WHET OWL banding station on
November 13 and 14. Cost is $195 per person for double
accommodations. This includes transportation, lodging, great guides,
and some meals.
We know these are going to fill up fast! If you are interested, call
registration
440 358-7275 and ask for the trip by date and name.
Everyone else in Lake co will be able to register on Aug 2 – so don’t
be left out!
And a quick PS -- if you think you'd like to join Mary for the
Beginner Bird Walk at Beaty Landing in Painesville on Wednesday
morning, July 28 (a yellow-breasted chat was there in late June!) at
7:30 a.m., please call or go to the website and register. As it
stands now, the program will be cancelled unless there are more
registrations.
Hope to see you soon!
