problem with vm-find.pl

Hello everybody,
I set up a small network to test the lml. PXE Boot is working well and
I can create VM's. But if I want to the vm-find.pl script I get all
time the same error:

Connecting to VI
Can't call method "type" on an undefinde value at /usr/share/perl/5.10/
VMware/VICommon.pm line 1501

Do anybody know what's the matter?
My set up include a VMware ESX i 5.0.0 (VMKernel Release 469512) and a
vSphere Client 5.0.0
looking forward for some replies.
