My empathies with you , having experienced the same with my phone 3 months back. Wish you a speedy recovery on that. Check with nearest police station if they had any CCTV cams where you lost it and possibility of tracing. If IMEI number is with you (original reciept/ box) you may wish to lodge police complaint.

What I discovered recently is that rather than go to a police station to register a loss like a mobile phone you can do it online using the iOS and Android Apps e-Lost Report from the App Store or Google Play Store. It’s seamless and generated a digitally signed report.
