to Lancha Mukta Karnataka Nirmana Vedike - RERA, HOMEBUYERS & AFFECTING ACTS
Dear All,
Today, I have sent an email to the Chief Secretary, GoK on improper implementation of RERA in Karnataka. I have mentioned in the letter that calling the meeting of Stake Holders of RERA by the Government Officials, RERA Interim Authorities and Present RERA Authority has not given any fruitful results in proper implementation of RERA in the last 41 months. Various Representations given by many activists of different NGOs requesting the Government to implement RERA to true letter and spirit is not considered in right spirit. I have mentioned in my letter that many Activists and NGOs are compelled to file PIL in the Karnataka High Court with a request to direct GoK to take steps for implementing the RERA Act in true spirit as envisaged by the Parliament of India. I requested the Chief Secretary to Constitute a TASK FORCE of officials and all stake holders of RERA to work on daily bases until all issues are solved as per the provisions of the RERA Act.

The Email sent to the Chief Secretary is forwarded to the Chairman of K- RERA, all members of KRERA, Secretary K-RERA, Housing Secretary, ACS UDD, Cooperatie Department, Revenue Department, Inspector General of Registration and Stamps, ROCS, Director of Town Planning. I will forward the same to you. separately.

I will be preparing the plaint for PIL in consultation with some experienced persons on PIL and some advocates in our group and also other advocates. With the help of Mr. C. N. Kumar, I will consult with advocates for filing for PIL.

Regards,
Ajit N. Naik
