I would like to pass certain parameter values to check whether I would get estimates "similar" to the parameters I just passed.

OK, is that not working for you? If so, please be specific about what is not working. It is always recommended to provide an example code of what you are trying to do. If you ask a vague question you can only get a vague answer.

I think I answered the original question you asked on stackoverflow, and I don't really understand the follow-up comments or questions you made. You asked something about passing arrays for parameter values. That will not work, but I don't understand what you are trying to do.
