Dear LMFDB team,

Prof. Derek Holt (in cc) suggested that I reach out to you to discuss whether integrating nonsolvable group catalogues from my Phd could enrich the LMFDB databases, and I would be delighted to explore potential collaborations with your team.

My PhD thesis focused on fast isomorphisms methods to catalogue non-solvable groups of a given order N. The catalogue is built as extensions of a specified perfect kernel P (from the D. Holt & W.Plesken database) by a solvable quotient S chosen from the SmallGroups library (from Bettina Eick&co).

Best regards. I look forward to exploring potential contributions to your inspiring project, which makes group catalogues accessible to the scientific community.

Hi Claude,
Sorry for the delay in responding; I just discovered that all lmfdb-support messages had somehow started going to spam....

I'd be happy to discuss this with you further.  As a first question, how many groups are in your catalogue and what kind of completeness guarantees do you have?
David
