Hello,

My name is Jonathan Lee, and I am an undergraduate Mathematics and Computer Science student at Northwestern University. I have some graduate algebra experience as well as necessary computer science experience and am interested in contributing in any way I can. I started a personal project with the aim to make GAP/PARI/Sage more accessible to mathematics students who don't have a background in computer science, and this is where I became more familiar with LMFDB. Regardless of if there is anything I can help with, I just want to say I love your work!

Best,
Jonathan Lee

Hi Jonathan,
Welcome!  I have two suggestions for getting involved in the LMFDB.  First, we have a Zuliip server where a lot of development discussion happens.  I've just sent you an invitation to join, and you can take a look at the ongoing discussions there and ask further questions.  Second, we have a regular meeting Fridays 9am-12pm Eastern that is hybrid between Zoom and in person at MIT.  You are welcome to drop in and chat about what interests you and how you can contribute.  I would check in on the LMFDBFriday Zulip channel first to make sure that people are planning on being around.
David
