Please I don't understand the meaning of the text in LMF Stanbol page: "In order to use the LMF Stanbol integration, Stanbol needs to be installed as another web application in the same application server as the LMF. This module then provides you some means of configuring Stanbol and the LMF to work properly together."
Do I need to download a Stanbol war to run in LMF apache tomcat? Do I need a separate version of Stanbol?
thanks
Alessandra

Sorry Alex, that outdated from LMF 2.x.
In LMF 3.x Stanbol in running embedded into LMF.
So, please, ignore it, we'll fix it for upcoming versions.

I am trying LMF 3.x but have encountered a few issues:
1) the default enhancers -- e.g. dbpedia -- do not seem to work. the enhancer returns no information, while the enhancers in standalone Stanbol work (except the geo:long and geo:lat return empty for some reason, even those fields were configured.

2) could not go to the Stanbol web console. It was mentioned as defect. The LMF security needs to be disabled, but there seems to be some bug in the LMF access control. The "security.enabled" property does not have effect.

Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hi Bernard,

the embedded Stanbol integration was not a good idea in the end, so it
is not maintained anymore. Instead we are focusing all our effort in the
components moved to Apache Marmotta.

Apologize about that.

Cheers,

What about the semantic search component? That is the component i am the most interested about. Is it still maintained? Is LMF dead and now we have to move to Marmotta? Why can't i see the semantic search compoenent in Marmotta?
