Thismode is for scanning folders/ hard drives/ external drives/ USBs or even networked locations. The whole process gets accomplished in 3 steps, namely selecting the target location, choosing the scan mode, and then launching the scan.

Next, you have to choose whether you want to scan for exact duplicates or similar ones. Exact duplicates are pictures that match each other bit by bit, pixel by pixel. Similar images are those images which even the naked eye can detect to closely resemble each other, but not close enough to be classified as exact duplicates.

The Included Extensions tab shows the image types that will be scanned in both the Exact Match as well as Similar Match scenarios. Please note that as of now, raw images can only be scanned in the Exact Match mode of the duplicate photo finder for Windows 11.

The Excluded Folders tab shows locations that have been omitted by default from all scans. These locations include critical directories which must not be scanned, or you run the risk of critically damaging Windows files.

When the scan is over, all the duplicates/ similar images will be listed out in a group format. The important point to note over here is that each group comprises of the same/ similar (as the case may be) kind of images corresponding to a single image. You can click any image and the Preview Area will bring up its preview and also provide useful metadata information about the image.

The final step is to click the Select Action button and make your choice. The Permanent Delete option will purge the photo files after getting your consent. If you select the Move to Folder option, you will get the Browse for Folder pop up which will help you select the folder to which you want to move the pictures.

PictureEcho provides a special scan mode for helping users scan their Adobe Lightroom catalog for exact/similar photos. The procedure is almost entirely the same as the system scan, except the beginning.

This section provides a very neat feature to the user. You can use it to view a summary of all the scans performed in the past, as well as restore data for all scans in which the Move to Folder action was performed.

Because the Park is both an arts center and part of the National Park Service (NPS), fairly strict guidelines have been set for photography and filming. Whenever the Park is used in any way in a commercial/professional photograph or film (other than news media coverage), a permit is required and a location fee is charged.

Note: Photographs taken by professional photographers are considered commercial even when the photographs are for personal use, e.g. wedding or engagement photos. The fact that the photographer is conducting business in the Park makes it a commercial shoot as defined by National Park Service permit regulations. This also applies to photography students and others who would like to conduct a photo shoot in the Park.]

The National Park Service issues the required permit, which has a non-refundable application fee of $90. Click here to visit the webpage with information and a link to the PDF form. (You will need Adobe Reader to access the form.) The Glen Echo Park Partnership DOES NOT issue permits.

Directions for submitting the application to the NPS permit office are on the form. (DO NOT submit forms to the Glen Echo Park Partnership. We do not process permit applications.) If you have general questions or would like more information, please contact Franice Sewell at 703-289-2513. Allow at least 4 business days for a permit application to be processed and the permit issued. In addition, the NPS may charge a location fee (usually $50). You may find more information about NPS photography and filming fees here.

If you do not wish to have access to the carousel or ballroom, but would like to film or take photographs outside on park grounds only, the Glen Echo Park Partnership will not charge a location fee, and you may work directly with the NPS permit office referred to above to apply for a permit.

Hi there, did you solve the Problem with Send the Image to Alexa is there anyone who can Help me? I Have the same Problem, I would like to Send a Snapshot of my Cam to my Echo Show 5. The first URL ( -assistant.io/images/cast/splash.png) works, with my own URL ( ) I have the same Problem like claustro. For the App-Notification can I use the same Path, that works greate! Any idea?

I also was unable to get it to work serving the image with a local https webserver that for all other purposes was working perfectly fine. But I was able to get it to work (lousily) hosting images externally. When I say lousy, I mean that the Echo takes 30 seconds to start showing the new image. I want it to appear instantly (at least, as instantly as I can get Alexa to speak tts, which is just a few seconds).

In the Show there are settings to set the slideshow frequency, and I set it to 6 seconds (the fastest). I have disabled all of the available sources for sildeshow images.

It fades in and out the current image every 10 seconds or so. And when I use the alexa-media-player to set the background it goes through 2-3 10 second fades of the current background before showing the new one. Which is an eternity when you want to see who is at the door!

The request for the image comes locally from HA, it is not Amazon making a web request for it. So I am not sure why it is even necessary to have an SSL requirement on the image, that is something HA is requiring, not Amazon. And it is baffling why it refuses to pull images off of home based servers.

Im just trying to do the same thing. I have a automation to snap picture when somebody rings and send it to echo show but the echo show blinks black, no image. The image is accessible via https , the link works in bworser. any idea what Im doing wrong?

Is the https image served from a machine in your home (the same network HA is on?). Because I could only get it to work having the image hosted outside of my home, even though I can load up the home based image just fine in a browser.

I was able to view the image on my echo show. My echo show only displays images with extension jpg not display file with extension png or jpeg. Unfortunately as mentioned by ronaldjeremy it is very slow

Rich Gaccione deserves a fucking medal. Just a week ago or so, the fellow music head sent me a message via Instagram, offering up use of his many photos from his time in the Long Island hardcore scene of the '90s. I was lucky enough to play alongside many of the bands from said scene during my time in Black Army Jacket since two of our original members (Chris Russo and Dan Crowell) were both from there, and we always had a great time.

Caroline and Donnie met each other in college at the University of Kansas. They worked together int the greenhouse on campus. Technically, their first date was at the movies. They saw Jurassic World in 3D. Donnie paid and they held hands the entire time but neither of them can remember or agree on what happened before or after the movie. However, their first real first date where they were both on the same page was sometime later at The Melting Pot. This is where they both discovered that they care more about eating good food than having long conversations at dinner.

On a chilly October morning, Donnie and Caroline met me just before sunrise at Echo Lake near Idaho Springs. With hand-warmers in our pockets, we set out on a little adventure. Echo Lake is the trailhead for one of my favorite backpacking trails in Colorado. After we explored the lake and watched the sunrise over the mountain ridge, I took them on a mini hike to one of my favorite viewpoints or Mt Evans. Afterward, we drove around Squaw Pass to a gorgeous field I had spotted on a camping adventure a few weeks prior. With fall leaves turning late that year, there were still some golden, glowing aspen trees as a backdrop for their Echo Lake engagement photos.

Until recently, only the larger Echo Show 15 had a Photo Frame mode, which displays a slideshow of your favorite photos while removing the clock and any other interface elements that might hide your pictures.

Now, however, any Echo Show device, from the swiveling Echo Show 10 to the diminutive Echo Show 5, can run Photo Frame mode. All you need is an Amazon Photos account, or you can use images from your Facebook account.

In 2005 McDonald illegally hacked off a fistful of tubers during the annual lotus festival. He took the cuttings back to his Reseda home and grew runners for years before local officials came calling during a 2011 renovation project. In the end, McDonald sold 376 lotus plants to the city for a cool $30,000. From vandal to savior. Such an L.A. story.

My favorite place to photograph the lake is in front of the statue of Nuestra Reina de Los Angeles (Queen of the Angels). I will never get sick of this view. Just to the east, a covid testing center has opened this morning, and news crews are on hand getting b-roll and conducting interviews. Almost two years later and the pandemic is still inseparable from our day to day existence. I wonder what normal will look like when we finally move past this, and if that new normal will be anything like the old normal.

As I wrap up my walk I go past a man who, despite all warnings and signage, has brought a loaf of bread to feed the local waterfowl. He is not stingy with his portions, and the birds love him for it. The Duck Lord and his loyal vassals.

As some of the best smart displays and best smart speakers, Echo Show devices are popular fixtures in the kitchen or bedroom. While it can be informative to stick with the default rotation of news, sports scores and suggestions for the best Alexa skills, turning your Echo Show into a digital photo frame can elevate the user experience.
