Dear QOX invited speaker Marcelo Martinelli

 

Thank you very much for accepting the invitation to participate in the Quantum Optics X conference, to be held in Puerto Varas, Chile, December 9-13, 2024.

 

The event organization is coming together, and we are writing to call your attention to the following information:

• All information for speakers can be found on our website https://www.miroptics.cl/quantum-optics-2024-chile/.

• Please submit the title and abstract of your presentation at this link: https://www.miroptics.cl/quantum-optics-2024-chile/Registration.html . If you have students or colleagues who wish to present posters, this same submission portal will be open for poster submissions until midnight on Sunday, September 8th.

• Please also pay the conference registration fee at this link: https://www.miroptics.cl/quantum-optics-2024-chile/Registration.html

• The event will take place at the Hotel Dreams, Puerto Varas, Chile, from December 9th to 13th.

• We recommend arriving in Puerto Varas at least one day earlier. To do so, you can take a flight from Santiago to Puerto Montt, and then from Puerto Montt there are several companies that can drive you to Puerto Varas from the airport.   For example: https://www.turistour.cl/turistour/ES/transfer_puerto_varas_in/transfer-del-aeropuerto-a-puerto-varas

• We ask that you kindly make your own hotel reservations. There are some rooms available at the Hotel Dreams and at the Radisson Hotel (conveniently  located right across the street) especially for participants of the event. When making your reservation, please let them know that you are attending Quantum Optics X conference, organized by MIRO.  There are also other hotel options in Puerto Varas, as well as bed and breakfast accommodations, Airbnb, etc, within walking distance of the Hotel Dreams. 
• For those who have previously contacted us regarding financial support, we are still verifying possibilities and will be in contact as soon as we have any information. 

• We are pleased to announce that the conference will have a parenting room for researchers who are attending with children.
