A Message from the Chairs
Abstract and Summary Submission Deadline:
08 February 2022
Dear Paulo,

As chairs of the Quantum 2.0 Conference and Exhibition, we encourage you to submit a paper for consideration to present. Optica (formerly OSA), which has a proven track record of hosting highly successful in-person and virtual meetings, is actively planning to incorporate both in-person and online components for our conference.

The conference brings together academics, engineers, national laboratory and industry scientists interested in developing and using quantum systems as well as computer/information scientists interested in processing and controlling information on quantum devices. The goal of this conference—the second in the series—is to promote the development of mature quantum technologies that will allow us to build Quantum 2.0 systems capable of quantum advantage and bridge the gaps between the different disciplines involved. It also aims to look forward to new scientific frontiers beyond the scope of current technologies.

The submission deadline is 8 February, 12:00 EST (UTC-05:00). Please choose from the detailed list of topics organized into ten categories appropriate for paper submissions.
  • Quantum Computing & Simulation
  • Quantum Communication Systems
  • Quantum Metrology & Sensors
  • Hybrid Systems, Quantum Interconnects
  • Quantum Photonic Sources & Detectors
  • Integrated-Optics Quantum Platforms & Devices
  • Optical & Laser Technology for QIST Systems
  • New Scientific Horizons with QIST Applications
  • Space-Based QIS
  • Quantum Ecosystem
We are pleased to announce the keynote speakers. Learn more about their talk titles, abstracts, and biographies on the website.
  • Nathalie de Leon, Princeton University
  • Jian-Wei Pan, University of Science and Technology of China
  • John Preskill, California Institute of Technology
  • Christine Silberhorn, Paderborn University
  • Michael Totzeck, Carl Zeiss AG
  • Peter Zoller, University of Innsbruck
The success of our conference depends on the participation of high-quality research presented by highly-regarded researchers. We hope that you will submit a paper for consideration.

Mark 13-16 June on your calendar today and then be sure to submit your paper before the deadline of 8 February 2022.

Best regards,
Chris
