Need to check when your friend's birthday is? Or maybe you just want to see a calendar of upcoming birthdays? Luckily, Facebook makes it easy to view all your friends' birthdays on a single page. We'll show you how.

With the methods below, you can find the birthdays of the people you are friends with on Facebook. You'll see today's birthdays, recent birthdays, upcoming birthdays, and birthdays arranged by months.

My calendar is full of facebook friend birthdays! and worse, they are listed under "My Calendar", not Facebook calendar, so I can't hide them by unchecking Facebook in Calendar, Settings > Calendars. Even thouh they are listed under My Calendar, they still have facebook logos on the entry and a sync logo. I tried by turning off the sync option, but they are still there. How can I remove them from my calendars, and add them to the "facebook" calendar?

This was reported in the Android Central forum here with a link to LifeHacker. It sounds like it will allow you to sync your Facbook calendar without the birthdays because you're exporting the events directly from Facebook. First, you may want to undo the sync that you have going on now. Hope it helps.

Go into Accounts and sync in Settings and remove Facebook HTC Sense and your calendar will be back to normal. Stupid thing had my calendar full of birthdays from my Facebook that I don't really care about....

There is a downward-pointing arrow on the top right of of the calendar. Hit this, and a list of all your calendars drops down. Untick the ones whose events you don't want synched to your phone's calendar.

I am using iOS 8.1.3 and I cannot get rid of Facebook birthdays from my calendar. I turned off calendar and contacts under the Facebook part of the settings menu and I have even tried completely removing anything related to Facebook from my phone but they won't go away.

Does anyone know how to get rid of all these birthday events from my calendar? I like to use it to see when I have an actual even but now my calendar has something on every day which isn't helpful at all.

- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6 older, hold down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)

This was helpful! I selected my Facebook account, which led me to iCloud settings for mail, contacts, calendar, etc. There I unchecked the boxes of those apps I did not want Facebook communicating with any longer, and it worked!

Go into the Calendar app. At the bottom center, touch where it says "Calendars." There may be TWO different settings for Birthdays. See screenshot below. Try unchecking each one and see if you get the desired outcome.

iOS 11 has removed Facebook Integration with the calendar app. However, if you are still seeing birthdays, open the calendar app, zoom out to the yearly view, tap on calendar at the bottom, and you will see a list of items that will show on the calendar. One of these is birthdays, and you can uncheck this option so that birthdays in general are not shown in the calendar. Thanks!

I had the same problem. Removing the birthday calendar also removed my contacts' birthdays. What I did took a while but it worked. I don't know how or why but some of my facebook friends (the ones their birthdays where spamming my calendar ?) appeared in my contact list, so i deleted them from my contacts one by one. It took a while but it worked. Hope i helped!

I have a lot of birthdays in my contacts downloaded from facebook in the past. I want to delete only the birthdays from all contacts. If that is not possible is it possible to delete data synced from facebook from my calendar in iCloud and iPhone and Mac?

The birthdays of my Facebook friends that were imported into my Xperia Pro are all one day early.Ii honestly can't recall if it was PC Companion or the FB app that imported all my FB contacts and their information, but the notifications I'm getting on my calendar all show the friend's birthday as being the day before it actually is.

There are no settings to change this so I suggest you have a look for alternative widgets in Market. Let me know if you find one you like and in return I will forward your post as a request for change. Deal?

I was facing the same anoying problem and, since I couldnt find any solution, I turned off the calendar sync of the Facebook Inside Xperia (Settings>Sony Ericsson>Facebook Inside Xperia) and manually imported my friends birthday from facebook to google calendar, following these steps:

This wikiHow teaches you how to see your Facebook friends' upcoming birthdays using an iPhone or iPad. Although birthdays used to appear on the Events calendar, you will now find them on a special page called Birthdays.[1]XResearch source And if you're worried you'll forget your friends' birthdays, you can customize your Facebook notifications so you'll always be notified of upcoming birthdays.

Facebook will typically notify you (on your own timeline or in your notications) of birthdays happening today or tomorrow. However, if you want to see more birthdays, you must remember to go to Facebook > Events > Birthdays and scroll down to view birthdays for the upcoming months.

Next, in a web browser (on your computer or on a mobile device) open your Teamup Calendar with your administrator link. (If you do not have an administrator link, you will need to contact the person who is the calendar administrator and ask them to add this iCal feed URL to your calendar.)

Your new Birthday iCalendar feed will show up as a new sub-calendar. If you have many sub-calendars, filter the calendar list on the left to display only the birthday calendar. Then select the Year view in the top right:

It's now been 10 years and I still can't remove the Facebook Birthday notification from iCalendar. Is there a fix on the iPhone or is there a fix in Facebook? This has truly gone on long enough...LOL!

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We see you have some questions about removing Facebook birthdays from your Calendar, and we'd like to help. The following link can help you Customize your calendar on iPhone, where you can remove the birthdays from there.

I am receiving Facebook birthday reminders all of a sudden. I don't see the actual birthdays anywhere in my calendar. I searched and used list view and everything else I can find from Googling. Yet every so often I will get a reminder 15 hours in advance of someones birthday.

Birthday reminders are nice but not if they keep popping up each day for every contact that has a birthday filled in.I don't need a popup birthday reminder. Especially not for every contact that has a birthday. I don't want to edit all contacts that I do or don't want to be notified about. Seeing them in the calendar app will be enough for me.

An other option would be to disable calendar birthday events but somehow I still get the annoying reminders popping up each day. ( And with me some others according to some forms I've read ) And this also disables viewing them in the calendar app.

I will know by tomorrow if the 'trick' above worked but since I didn't find any q/a how to disable all birthday reminders easily I posted this here in hope to find a good answer that will fix this problem once and for all. Maybe I found an answer but if you could confirm it that would be great!

Yes. This should work. As you are aware, when you (or the Facebook contact) inputs their birthday into the contact, iOS creates a new calendar called "Birthdays". On both iOS and OSX you have control over the notifications that you receive for each birthday that is on that calendar.

You can also disable the Birthday calendar on your iOS device altogether by opening the Calendar.app, tapping "Calendars" in the upper left corner, and scrolling down to and tapping on "Birthdays". You will see the check mark next to it disappear and the birthdays will no longer show in your calendar.

No, this doesn't work. Birthdays set to none in settings and Birthdays calendar unchecked and still getting those annoying facebook birthday reminders. Tried uninstalling facebook but that doesn't seem to work either. Facebook is like a persistent virus. Grr

I'm not sure if anyone figured it out yet, but I just had some luck and finally turned it all off from the Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars then Calendars section and under accounts i just clicked all of them individually and turned off the calender tab, in addition to having birthdays switched to none as previously mentioned.

The calendar widget is showing the anniversary of only 1 friend. Does the same for this specific person's birthday too. I don't know which calendar it's getting info from, as I have checked both google & windows calendars. I don't have those checked as options. Is there anyway to remove this information?
