I'm interested to help organize an informal llvm social for Asia. I
have a slight preference to Singapore, but if everyone is mostly in
India or another country I'm ok with that.

Yeah I vaguely remember some folks at NUS working on compiler or
related stuff. If anyone else in your group may be interested that
would be cool. Maybe you can help circulate inside campus to see what
pops up..

Also, I think Taiwan is a nice option. Since there are several universities(e.g NTU, NTHU, NCTU) and companies(e.g MediaTek) in Taiwan are working tightly with LLVM.
