LLS next year

Hi guys,

I was wondering if we could get together sometime in the next
week or so to discuss what's happening with LLS from here
(particularly Rouan / I know you aren't here next year Nastassja
although your input would be great if you have time). How would
Tuesday the 12th at 2:00 be for you guys?

In the meantime, I will ask a couple friends whether they're
interested in being on the LLS committee and Rouan if you have
time to send an email to any faculty members who might be
interested particularly in helping out at O Week (Jason, maybe
Keith?, other people I don't know perhaps as well) that would be
great.

Also something to think about that we can discuss next week: I
was thinking about our club name and aims and things, and how
there are already clubs for a lot of the languages (Spanish,
French and German, there's going to be an English one starting,
and probably more that I don't know about). Would it maybe be an
idea to call ourselves the Linguistics and Language Society
instead? Because I'm thinking what we do is more about the study
of language in general-how it works, evolution, all of that more
Linguistics-related side-rather than about specific languages per
se. I reckon it might just be clearer and help to distinguish us
a bit. What do you guys think?
