Dear Boris, 

Thank you so much..I do enjoy seeing and reading the relentless and perseverant unfoldment of the work you and we initiated and grounded a few years ago...

I would also love to see some more people from our region to go and participate as this capacity is badly needed. 

I am also wondering how where I am at now can fit in to the process as an aspect of contribution. 

Where I am at nowdays is more into Social Healing and thus  Hosting Collective Spaces where we CAN start anew and reweave a New Presence into Action. 

I witness so much cleavage, chasms, and pain and hurt in the deep layers of our collective psyche and also the distorted mindset that is patterned around it that eventually lead to some old and conflicting resolutions in our social field. 
I have seen so much renewed and dynamic energy put into the birthing of the new and healthy, yet somehow many of them fall back into old paradigm based divisions and ego states when deeper levels of differences emerge.. that now my path is leading me - again - more towards learning how to weave our individual and collective wisdom into hospicing the past and midwifing the future, while staying fully present in the midst of chaotic and conflicting present . 

Thus I started Healing Dialogues via City Dialogues and the renewal of our EST program with social constellation and presencing and Cathartic work held in a hosting Space. 

Our SoL community is also searching for new and meaningful new steps as I am more and more withdrawing from its management...Yet, I still hope for my vision to unfold, ie. a Duna Partnership where our region can see the value and mission in bringing us together so that we also learn to see value and contribution among us with right appreciation towards all of us. 

I am glad to belong to IPTL and being informed time after time feels my heart and always share with our larger whole...

Dear all,

We write you with an update from Knowmads HQ. For some the following might be known, for some partly and for some unknown.

In any case, we feel the need to properly update you all.

Joseff of tribe3 once fittingly introduced Knowmads to the poet Ferlinghetti. 

The first line of his poem #1 is: 'everything changes and nothing changes'.

At Knowmads, many changes has happened. We want to shortly introduce you to them.

One major change is that the current program is 6 months. Tribe 13 started April 4 and will finish together with tribe 12. In September, there will be one month overlap between tribe 12/13 and the new tribe 14.

And, over the last year, staff (council) changes happened. Currently Guus, Tijmen, and Jord are running the school in Amsterdam operationally. We see Floris, Tsila, and Pieter as 'elders'. Pieter is still here at the school, as an owner financially and as a consultant for companies. Additionally Paul (T8) is handling the finances.

Another major change happened summer 2015. At that time Jaron, Kim, and Laura Grool were running Knowmads. Pieter told Jaron to leave Knowmads. Pieter believed the school was not ran the way he thought was right. When Jaron left, Kim and Laura decided to leave as well. Kim was part of Knowmads the longest, from August 2011 until August 2015. 

From July 2015 - March 2016 Pieter and Guus were running Knowmads.

This email is our way of saying goodbye and thank you to Kim, Jaron, and Laura. It’s not an end presentation or a goodbye ‘borrel’ with hugs and speeches, but in agreement with all decided this is the best way after so many months.

As current staff we are aware that this process was painful. We genuinely appreciate all the work that has been done by everyone who has come before us. Elders, former staff, students and everyone around the school. 

Thank you. 

We truly believe everyone involved has acted the best they knew how or were capable of. And mistakes have been made. And, beautiful experiences and great results have been made, by everybody who has worked so hard over the years to make Knowmads an inspiring place where people can make a positive change!

We would like to reach out to the Knowmads community, being you. Our intention is to do our part in making the Knowmads Community thrive. Informing you all of where we are is our first step.

The pictures of all students and (former) staff are being put back in our (clean) school (seriously, it’s quite clean here). We are starting to blog again, set up alumni events, and have a 'borrel' Friday afternoon.

Also we are updating the website, including all (former) staff members.

We hope you will see you at the Gathering the 13th of May 2016.
