First and foremost: I have 16 people paid for the next game. I need 20 by Tuesday. If you haven't paid, please pay now. If I don't have $400 towards the $560 I owe, I will cancel game.
Second, I've been having serious trouble running the game for the past few months. There are numerous things that have proven to be very draining to me. I realize I can't continue running the game without making significant changes. Here's what I came up with, in the short and long term:
1. First, you can expect minimal handouts for this game. I'm going to focus on my NPC prep, and making sure that they're good to go, and have good notes. I think this can be a very exciting game, but I'm not going to kill myself on making handouts and slips. I'm going to focus on what I need to make the game experience amazing, and not on producing a comprehensive packet for players
2. Do not expect a regular game in April. I'm going to take a full month off. I'll recharge and revamp.
3. When I come back in May, expect there to be changes. I'm pretty sure these changes are going to be positive.
When I started this game, I was in the Air Force, living in Wilmington, with my wife at the time. A lot has changed since then. There's a lot that has worn on me, and I need a break. We're going to have a great time this weekend… get ready for the Scuttled Ship.
